Lowercase h

The lowercase h belongs to the ascender loop family.
It begins with a tall looped ascender, then moves into a compound curve. The goal is to keep the ascender stable and the second part rhythmic.
The h should feel connected, not like a tall stroke followed by a separate bump.
Practice slowly and focus on five things:
Make the loop and compound curve feel like one connected movement.
- Start with a controlled ascender loop.
- Keep the shaded stroke steady.
- Turn smoothly into the second part.
- Keep the inner space balanced.
- Finish with a clean exit hairline.
If the second part feels cramped, widen the spacing slightly without breaking the rhythm.
