Lowercase i

The lowercase i belongs to the reverse curve family.
It is small and simple, so it shows small mistakes quickly. The goal is a clean light stroke, steady slant, and controlled dot placement.
Do not rush this letter just because it is short. A weak i makes spacing and rhythm look messy very quickly.
Practice slowly and focus on five things:
Keep the stroke light and place the dot with intention.
- Keep the main stroke light and controlled.
- Follow the slant guideline.
- Avoid wobble in the hairline.
- Place the dot clearly above the stroke.
- Keep spacing even before the next letter.
If the stroke shakes, reduce pressure and relax your grip.
