Lowercase c

The lowercase c belongs to the oval family.
It is built from the same oval movement as a and o, but it remains open. The goal is a smooth curve, a balanced counter, and a clean opening.
The c should not collapse inward or become too round. Keep the shape controlled and aligned with the slant.
Practice slowly and focus on five things:
Keep the right side open enough that the form reads clearly as c.
- Begin with a light entrance.
- Form the curve smoothly.
- Keep the inner space open and balanced.
- Avoid closing the shape too much.
- Finish with a clean exit.
If the letter looks like an unfinished o, open the right side more. If it looks too flat, return to oval practice.
