The uppercase F is built from a strong entrance curve, a shaded downstroke, and controlled horizontal movement.
The goal is to keep the letter elegant while preserving a clear structure. The upper movement can be expressive, but the main stroke must stay stable.
Do not let the top flourish dominate the whole letter.
Practice slowly and focus on five things:
- Begin with a smooth entrance.
- Keep the main shaded stroke clean.
- Control the upper flourish.
- Keep the center spacing open.
- Finish without adding unnecessary weight.
If the F looks too decorative, simplify the upper curve first and focus on clean structure.
