Lowercase w

The lowercase w belongs to the compound curve family.
It is built from repeated pressure-and-release movements, similar to u and v. The goal is rhythm, spacing, and consistent inner spaces.
The w should not become too wide. Keep each part controlled and evenly spaced.
Practice slowly and focus on five things:
Repeat the movement evenly instead of stretching the letter too far.
- Keep each shaded stroke parallel.
- Release pressure before each turn.
- Keep the repeated parts even.
- Avoid making the letter too wide.
- Finish with a clean exit.
If the w loses rhythm, practice u and v again before returning to the full letter.
